某北関東の駅でツアーコンダクターの女性が、もう旅行も終盤なのか、お土産をたくさん持った団体客を引き連れてホームに立っていた。
その彼女の足元をチェックすると、ペタンコなパンプス。たくさん歩いて疲れたのか、相当蒸れているのか、靴を脱ぎ出した。足を入れたり、脱いだり。換気しているのだろう。
そうこうしているとつま先で、ペンタコ靴をくるくると回転させ出した。
これは一朝一夕でできる技ではないな、きっと。旅行が無事終了することを祝う歓喜の舞か、パンプスを回して蒸れや汗を蒸発させる彼女独自の技か。
遠くから眺めていたので、足のチェックはできなかったけど、靴を脱ぐシーンはいつ見てもいいですね。
さて、本題。
本編は約３分。女性のサンダルを脱いでいる生足裏を写しているだけの動画だが、生活感溢れています。踵の角質具合、サンダル履いているから、足裏もうっすら汚れています。
足指の薬指が中指の下に潜り込んでいるのもいいですね。
A Japanese woman, a tour guide, was standing on the platform of a train station in northern Kanto with a group of passengers carrying many souvenirs, perhaps at the end of their journey.
When we checked her feet, we noticed that she was wearing flat pumps. She took off her shoes, perhaps because she was tired from walking or because her feet were quite stuffy. She put her feet in and took them off. She must be ventilating.
As she did so, she began to turn the flat shoes on their toes.
This is not a skill that can be learnt overnight, I'm sure. Is it a joyful dance to celebrate the successful completion of the journey, or is it her own unique technique of spinning the pumps to evaporate the steam and sweat?
I was watching from a distance, so I couldn't check her feet, but the shoe-removal scene is always good to watch.
On to the main story.
The film is about three minutes long. The video is just a shot of a woman's raw soles as she takes off her sandals, but it is full of life. The calluses on her heels, she's wearing sandals, so her soles are slightly dirty.
I also like how the ring toe is tucked under the middle toe.
